I serve on the Board of Directors for Forward Through Ferguson, and I would like to invite you to join us for a night of fun with our upcoming Community at the Center trivia night on November 10.

When the Ferguson Commission sunsetted in 2015, a handful of former Commissioners and key staff formed Forward Through Ferguson, which is now a nonprofit organization designed to be a catalyst for the infrastructure needed to make lasting positive change in the St. Louis region as outlined in the report. Anchored in the collaborative, unflinching, and community-driven principles that guided the Ferguson Commission, Forward Through Ferguson is a catalyst for leading the St. Louis region on a path toward Racial Equity.

As Forward Through Ferguson seeks to keep our community at the center of this work, our trivia nights and community gatherings have served as a fun and effective touch point for sustaining this work. That's why I'd like to invite you to join me on Saturday, November 10 at the International Institute of St. Louis for this awesome event.

There are also many upcoming ways you can get involved with the Trivia Night:

  1. Pledge to sponsor an event or round.

  2. Purchase tickets or a table (and bring your community!)

  3. Donate an item to be used in our raffle

  4. Volunteer to set-up, break-down and/or work the event.

We hope to create a safe, celebratory space where members of our community can enjoy one another, make new connects and ultimately, raise some funds to support the work of Forward Through Ferguson. For more information, contact Rachel at development@forwardthroughferguson.org.

Thank you, and I hope to see you there!
(And, if you can't come, feel free to share it with interested friends.)
