The Social brings together thought leaders, practitioners and students of social impact for immersive ideation, learning and action in social innovation and entrepreneurship. The summit will focus on equity in innovation for community health and wellness.

Oct. 9: Kickoff reception at Denver’s newest health innovation hub, Catalyst HTI, with a panel of local leaders in the health equity movement and moderated by University of Denver Chancellor Rebecca Chopp.

Panelists include: 

• Helen Drexler, President and CEO of Delta Dental of Colorado 

• Deidre Johnson, CEO and Executive Director of The Center for African-American Health

• Lydia Prado, Director of Community Partnerships for The Barton Institute

Oct. 10: Multiple sessions addressing core aspects of social innovation and entrepreneurship, including design-thinking, social impact evaluation, and funding and scaling for start-ups.

• Jean Case, CEO of The Case Foundation

• Sarah Zak Borgman, Director of the Skoll Foundation's Community and Convenings
