FoodSpark is a series of monthly, themed, and potluck-style dinner parties that allow individuals to make connections, start conversations, spark ideas on social topics that matter to them.
While people’s experiences often differ and talking about social topics can be uncomfortable or challenging, sharing a meal provides a unique chance for people to come together, listen, share experiences, find commonalities, and engage with others whom they may have never interacted with in a supportive setting.
During these interactive and diverse food-based experiences, participants receive chances to 1) gather and engage each other in different platforms, 2) extend and deepen the conversations of each topic and 3) generate collective action as we imagine, shape, and secure funding for ideas that are sparked.
