“If we are to make history, we need to do more than just make headlines. We need to learn from the mistakes of the past. We need to do things which prior generations put off because they were considered "too radical.” Our generation has been labeled the most accepting of race, class and gender differences. That is why our movement is so beautiful. It is also what is most frightening to those in power. How do you defeat a movement that is so open-minded? My advice would be to stop looking for ways to derail the movement, and begin looking seriously at how you can heal the wounds the protests have exposed.“
